Nov 27 - 29th > Residency towers, Trivandrum

The Residency - Liked - staff down to earth and right in the middle of the city. Took off on foot for a change of scenery.

'M.G.' Road - MG=Mahatma (coatmashoesmaskirt?) Gandhi - v.famous Indian Blokey whose autobiog i'm reading at the mo!. This is the main street through Kerala's capital city - their 'Oxford street' i guess (these images are not meant to give an unfair impression of what is a pretty brill, and often hahaha-'halarious' city!):

MG road - no paths; clapped out buses; decrepit cars; gaseous fumes and men in skirts!

Political graffiti adorns most of the walls in the city. This particularly colourful example says 'Mahatma woz ere' (allegedly) - Nice to see a bloke in troosers for a change!

Quite why I decided to dive in front of the commisioners car remains a mystery

Currently my favourite guns; weapons and.......'chemicals' shop.

(aka 'men at work') - the view:my 6th story window. I asked the room attendant what the crazy climbers were doing - 'construction' he replied. Good to see the H+S practices over here are in line with everything else.........nice rope ladder though!
